Did You Know. . .

You can enhance the indoor environment by improving the acoustics of the space.

INNOVATION CREDIT - ENHANCED ACOUSTICAL PERFORMANCE

By using the highest absorptive ceiling for open plan areas, high STC panels, and sound masking, a superior acoustical performance is achieved.

To learn more about open and closed office design, and preview the Speech Privacy Predictor Tool which aids in predicting the level of speech privacy based on the selection
of interior finishes.  Contact your Armstrong Sales Rep to get a custom analysis of your space.

Acoustic Performance

A LEED Innovation Credit for Acoustics can be submitted demonstrating that the acoustical performance improvements of a building clearly enhance the indoor environment in ways consistent with the preservation of human health and maximization of occupant productivity. They are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Ask your Armstrong rep how we can help you to achieve this credit and a balanced acoustical design.

Here is an example of the Architectural Design Guidelines for an Open Plan office that achieved an Innovation Credit in the LEED-EB Platinum HQ building in Lancaster, PA.
