How Much Does It Cost?
Product + Installation = Total Cost

Product Cost

$0.99 to $6.00/sq. ft.

  • The quality of the design and embossing figure prominently in the price of laminate. Trust your eyes to choose a laminate that looks and feels realistic.
  • Laminate flooring thickness ranges from 6 to 12 millimeters. Expect to pay more for a thicker product.
  • Products with high levels of melamine in the core have improved moisture resistance, and can be more expensive.
  • You can expect to pay more for a high quality installation system.
  • Some laminate flooring has an attached underlayment. This generally adds $1.00 to $2.00 /sq. ft.

Installation Cost

$1.00 to $4.50/sq. ft., including underlayment

Installation costs can vary greatly, based on geography (labor rates) as well as subfloor preparation needs. Armstrong recommends that you contact an Armstrong Certified Installer to provide you with an accurate installed cost estimate.
